Chloe and Isabel

Pinterest Contest Winners!

June 20, 2012

We are so excited to announce the winners of our Garden Party Pinterest Contest!

In honor of our spring Garden Party collection, we styled a Garden Party board full of inspiration from our photo shoot. Our fans created their own garden party boards on Pinterest and pinned what inspired their own, person garden parties!

Congratulations to our grand prize winner, Reigan Massey! Her board (above) was romantic, fresh, sunny, pink, yummy, floral, and shabby chic — with a little Lana Del Rey thrown in there. Whats not to love?! Reigan wins $250 in Chloe + Isabel jewels!

We had two runners-up with fabulous boards, as well. Congrats to Payal Prasad and Kelly Throne! They will both win $25 to Chloe + Isabel.

We love Payal’s use of C+I jewels in her board (below, top) and Kelly’s amazing story-telling and use of color (below, bottom).

(Payal’s board is above and Kelly’s is below!)

Garden Party Decorations!

April 18, 2012

We absolutely fell in love with our “Garden Partythemed spring shoot. This theme is perfect for a spring or summer trunk show. Picture Elderflower Lemonade with Wildflower Ice Cubes, French Macarons, Flower Cupcakes … what else could you possible need? Some decorations, of course! Here are some ideas we used at the photo shoot that are super-simple but make a gorg impact.

Paper Flowers

The perfect bouquet that never goes away! *Note: these are for life-size flowers. Giant flowers would require a bigger square of paper*

What you’ll need:

Construction paper — any colors you like

Pen/Pencil

Scissors

Tape

How to:

1. Draw a spiral on a 4×4″ square sheet of paper

2. Cut out spiral along the lines you have drawn

3. Begin rolling up the spiral from the outside

4. Keep on rolling until there is no more left to roll!

Flower Wall

Add color to any room with this great conversation starter!

What you’ll need:

Silk flowers

Tape — fun colors or clear

Blank wall

How to:

1. Find your blank ‘canvas’ of a wall that will provide a great backdrop — maybe behind the food buffet table, or in front of where everyone will take pictures.

2. Tape fake silk flowers in lines up the wall, with each flower “stripe” equal distance from the next. You can use clear tape, but we used bright yellow!

3. Mix it up and do whatever you think looks best: all flowers up with stems below, flowers facing down toward ground and stems up, or alternating directions.

4. That’s really all there is to it! Have fun with your color scheme and don’t worry too much about it looking perfect.
