Senior Platform Engineer
The Role
Are you interested in scaling technology to handle hundreds of
requests per second? Do you test first? Is Hacker News what you read
in the morning? Does a code kata and pizza sound like a fun Thursday

Chloe and Isabel is seeking remarkable engineers to manage our
application development practice utilizing both internal and vendor
partner resources to produce systems that make our company scale
faster than your wildest dreams. You’ll be working in a fast-paced,
fun environment tackling a problems far more complex and dynamic than
the average ecommerce platform. While experience is appreciated, the
ability to learn and apply new technologies is equally important if
not more so.
This is a salaried full-time position with benefits in the heart of TriBeCa.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be architecting, developing and scaling a new
kind of social commerce platform. You will be creating innovative technology to help
merchandisers sell products, connect with customers and track sales
performance. You will be a part of creating a new business model and
product that will define an entirely new category.
You will be an instrumental part of the team architecting and
building a modular, scalable platform that integrates in house and
vendor/partner services. You will design and develop high volume web
services.
We practice test-driven development and continuous deployment. We use
open source and like people who want to participate in open
development processes. We are passionate about amazingly elegant code.
