Style Showcase 101: Greys and Neutrals

January 6, 2012

If you were one of the lucky ones that had a C+I college ambassador visit your college campus this winter, you know what a fun, fashion and jewelry-filled event each “first look” party was! Check out our previous style showcases here and here — adorable, no?

Now, we present a few more of our favorite looks we spotted — outfits that were black, grey, and chic all over!

Style is something they can’t teach in school, but this girl has learned it all on her own. Kennedy, pictured above, keeps it cool and breezy — a must in often-sweltering Florida, where she attends USF. Kennedy stays on-trend by accessorizing her look with a little bit of fringe — definitely something Chloe would do. Since she likes some fringe around her neck, she should try our Two-Tone Fringe Necklace the next time she goes out!

Another University of Southern Florida girl, Kimberly looks New York City-chic in grey and black. Her leggings, sweater, and flats keep it simple, but she shows off her sophisticated side with a giant eye-catching gold watch and classic Ray-ban Wayfarer sunglasses. This Isabel should accessorize with just a touch more gold, don’t you think? Our Graduated Hoop Earrings in gold would make this outfit perf.

Don’t you just love this casual class-time look? Nicole, from Western Michigan University, is cute and quirky, staying warm as the seasons change by throwing on a classic denim jacket, grey scarf, and knee socks. What this adorable ‘Chloe’ blondie needs to stand out is a touch of shine — like our Cascading Cut Out Petal Earrings. Now she’ll be top of the class!
