January 31, 2012

Sheryl Sandberg is the current Chief Operating Officer at Facebook, and has also worked for Google and in the U.S. Department of the Treasury. We love this popular video we found of her, which has been making its way around the Internet over the past year. She gave this 15-minute speech as a part of the TED Women series, and her ideas on how young women can become successful in the workplace are incredibly inspiring.

Sheryl points out three key pieces of advice: “sit at the table,” “make your partner a real partner,” and “don’t leave before you leave.” What exactly does she mean by these intriguing ideas? Watch her talk yourself to find out, and get empowered!
